The lab is on the sixth floor of Pinn Hall, on the UVA Health Sciences side of campus. We’re happy to host visiting scientists, prospective trainees, and collaborators. Email ahead so we can plan the visit; the building requires a check-in.

01 · Parking
UVA Health visitor parking is closest at the Lee Street Parking Garage and the 11th Street Parking Garage. Both are a few minutes' walk from Pinn Hall. Faculty/staff parking requires a UVA permit. Hourly rates apply at the garages; pay on exit.
02 · Building entrance
Pinn Hall (formerly Jordan Hall) sits on Jefferson Park Avenue at 1340 JPA, on the UVA Health Sciences side of campus. The main entrance is on JPA; the lab is in Room 6023A on the sixth floor. Photo ID is required at the front desk; visitors should be expected.
03 · Public transit
UVA Health is on the University Transit Service (UTS) Health System Connector route. From Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO), the trip takes ~15–20 minutes by car or rideshare. Amtrak's Charlottesville station is roughly 10 minutes by rideshare.
04 · Nearby food & coffee
The Corner — a stretch of restaurants and cafes on University Avenue — is a short walk. Coffee at Java Java or Grit Coffee. Nearby quick lunches include Bodo's Bagels, The Pie Chest, and the food court inside UVA Health's main hospital building.
